polymerization conditions for hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane is a kind of organic chemistry, molecular formula is C7H9NO. Chinese name: polymerization conditions for hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane, alias: 2 - (2 - hydroxy ethyl pyridine); 2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl) -1h-5-pyrazolyl) thiazole; 2-(1-(4-chlorophenyl) -1h-5-pyrazolyl) thiazole; Petadine B; 2-pyridine ethanol.
Physicochemical property
Appearance and properties: polymerization conditions for hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane
Density: 1.093g /mL at 25°C(lit.)
Melting point: -8--7°C
Boiling point: 114-116°C9 mm Hg(lit.)
Flash point: 199°F
Danger type code: R36/37/38
Safety note: S26; S36; S24/25

Production method
It is obtained by addition reaction of 2-methylpyridine with formaldehyde. Formaldehyde and 2-methylpyridine were added into the reaction pot, and nitrogen was added, stirred and heated to 125℃ with a pressure of about 0.4MPa. After 20h of reaction, vacuum distillation was carried out, and 2-(2-hydroxyethyl) pyridine was obtained by collecting 130-145℃(2.13kPa) fractions.
use
Used in organic synthesis.
